Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any product operated by Risinger Labs ("we", "us", "our"), including DomVigil, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Risinger Labs provides software-as-a-service products for domain and infrastructure monitoring. Our services include automated checks of DNS records, SSL certificates, and WHOIS registration data, with alerting via email and other channels.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to monitor domains you do not own or have authorization to monitor
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell access to the service without written permission

6. Availability and Accuracy

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Monitoring data is provided on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for missed alerts, delayed checks, or inaccurate data. Our services are not a substitute for your own operational monitoring.

7. Data and Privacy

We collect and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of any data you provide to us.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Risinger Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
